The Board and owners are seeking a CEO who can deliver measurable commercial progress, build organisational strength and lead a technology-driven business with clarity, discipline and credibility.

OSC is a global technology company headquartered in Ålesund, Norway, with about 50 highly skilled employees. The company delivers advanced software solutions within simulation, virtual prototyping and digital twins, primarily serving offshore and ocean-based industries.
With deep roots in oil & gas and a strong position in digital transformation, OSC enables clients to explore the future before it happens — reducing risk, improving decision-making and accelerating learning across complex operations.
As CEO, you will carry full responsibility for strategy execution, performance and leadership. You will work closely with the Board and owners to translate strong technological capabilities into sustainable commercial results.
Key responsibilities
Overall leadership of OSC, including strategy, operations, profitability and performance
Delivering commercial traction and improved execution capability across the organisation
Making clear priorities and decisions, including difficult ones when required
Building trust, alignment and accountability within the leadership team and organisation
Acting as representative towards customers, partners, investors and other stakeholders
Driving growth through customer dialogue, partnerships and market expansion nationally and internationally
Developing the organisation through empowerment, structure and scalable leadership practices
Experience and Qualifications
We are seeking a credible and execution-oriented leader with strong analytical capabilities and a proven ability to scale technology-driven businesses.
Leadership experience from a technology company, providing credibility in customer dialogues and internally
Experience from oil, gas, energy or related industries may compensate for formal technology leadership experience
Senior leadership experience is required; CEO experience is an advantage but not a requirement
Candidates from senior executive roles must demonstrate responsibility for complex organisations and commercial scaling
Proven commercial and financial responsibility, including P&L, negotiations and business development
Experience from B2B markets; software, SaaS, digital solutions or offshore-related industries are preferred
Exposure to international markets, partnerships and growth strategies
Relevant higher education demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Personal Qualities
Strong delivery focus with the ability to translate strategy into results
Team-oriented management style
Commercial mindset with a pragmatic approach to value creation
Structured, well-organised and analytically strong
Ability to make and follow through on difficult decisions
Genuine interest in people, technology and organisational development
Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian (additional languages are a plus)
